Please Whitelist This Site?

I know everyone hates ads. But please understand that I am providing premium content for free that takes hundreds of hours of time to research and write. If I can't make at least a little bit of money to support my family via this site, I'll have to stop working on it.

One alternative is to become a RuneScoop member. It's cheap, you get access to all of the site with no ads, and you help keep the lights on around here.

If you want to use this site for free, I'd be grateful if you could add RuneScoop to the whitelist for Adblock. To do so, just open the Adblock menu and select "Disable on Runescoop.com". Or go to the Tools menu and select "Adblock Plus Preferences...". Then click "Add Filter..." at the bottom, and add this string: "@@http://*runescoop.com/*". Then just click OK.

Thanks for your understanding!

Sincerely... Qeltar, aka Charles, your hard-working host and RuneScape guide-writer extraordinaire. :)

Frozen Theme - Floors 1 to 11

The Frozen theme encompasses the first 11 floors of Daemonheim, and so is the one that new players will initially encounter as they begin Dungeoneering and get used to the skill. It is arguably the easiest of the themes, with most of its bosses generally quite manageable, and its monsters generally easy for their level as well.

General Description

As the name implies, the idea of this theme is cold, which is probably related to the cold surroundings up on the surface of Daemonheim itself. The rooms are all bluish in tone, including floors, walls and even the “background scenery” items. There isn’t obvious ice or snow on most objects, though, except in special cases.

Monsters in the Frozen floors are all ice-themed; in fact, most of them have “ice” in their names. Boss rooms are also ice-themed, and so are most of the bosses, which include a mage who freezes players and summons ice spiders, an icefiend who drops icy stalagmites, and a boss made more difficult by its slippery, ice-covered room.

The following monsters are encountered on Frozen floors:

  • Bat

  • Bovimastyx

  • Forgotten Mage
