These are similar to ghosts outside Daemonheim, appearing as pale, translucent spirits floating above the ground. They are special monsters found only in a particular challenge room, where you are required to kill them one at a time by watching a spirit that jumps from one to the next. They are not encountered elsewhere in the dungeons. Ghosts seem to attack both with melee and a magic attack that looks a bit like a wind blast. (Unless I got my animations confused.) They are weaker to slash than to other melee attack styles; I have not tried ranging or maging them. They are immune to poison and have no drops.
Table 63 lists all of the ghost variants Ive found so far. All ghosts in a challenge room are of the same level.
