These monsters resemble grotesque cubes of gelatinous material with various organs or bits of something visible within them. They are one of several Slayer monsters that have been put into Dungeoneering, complementing the new Slayer monsters that exist only in Daemonheim. Jellies require level 52 Slayer to fight. They use a magic-based melee attack that is blocked using Protection from Melee (or Deflect Melee) but is otherwise best defended against using ranged armor or magic robes. That said, they are relatively rare in Daemonheim and their combat level doesnt scale up for higher-level players, so they are rarely a threat. Like pretty much all monsters with a Slayer level requirement, jellies have a special drop. In this case that is a set of grounding boots, which they leave behind fairly regularly. While grounding boots are avoided by most players because of their melee attack penalties, they provide a massive +30 magic defence bonus that can save a lot of food against some monsters and bosses.
Jellies come in only one version, and are level 78 with 750 life points and a maximum hit of 59.
