Skeleton (Melee) Zombie (Melee)

Melee skeletons in the Abandoned theme can be identified by the helms they wear and longswords they wield; mage skeletons wear black robes. But if you find a skeleton that is only wearing his bony birthday suit—that one’s a ranging skeleton.

These monsters throw what at first appear to be rocks, like other ranging monsters, but they turn out to actually be skulls. How charming! They are quite formidable opponents, capable of doing a good amount of damage on unsuspecting players. Like other skeletons, they are most susceptible to crush attacks, with slash attacks the worst and stab somewhere in the middle. They are also easily maged, if you want to expend the runes.

These skeletons can be part of the skeletal horde boss encounter.
