This Guide and the Non-Members Version of Dungeoneering As I mentioned on the prior page, I pretty much always play the members version of RuneScape. I believe anyone who considers himself or herself to be a serious player should be a member, not only to support Jagexs development efforts, but for the far greater richness of the members game. The cost is trivial given that you are able to do more, have more fun, and avoid literally hundreds of hours of tedious grinding. That said, I understand that some people cannot (or will not) obtain membership, and I know that Dungeoneering was designed to be for both members and non-members. I did want to make this guide for both types of players, and I spent some time trying out the F2P game. Sponsored links help make RuneScoop possible; RuneScoop members don't see them. See here for more information about ads. Dungeoneering is basically the same thing in F2P and P2P except that free players have more restrictions. Unfortunately, one of these limitations comes in the form of a severe XP cap for high-level players who do dungeons on free worlds, which was introduced a few days after the initial skill release. This has made doing dungeons on F2P a big waste of time for anyone with high combat levels. I need to get Dungeoneering XP and tokens in order to further develop this and other guides. It didnt make a lot of sense for me to spend a great deal of time testing everything on both P2P and F2P, especially when my XP on F2P was going to be minimal. Most of the people who read my guides are over combat level 90 and also members, so I decided to focus mostly on the P2P version of Dungeoneering. I realize some F2Pers may not like that, but again, there isnt all that much difference between F2P and P2P in terms of concepts, mechanics and game strategy. Nearly everything in this guide will apply just as well to non-members as members. Youll justs have to keep in mind that certain areas of Dungeoneering will just be off limits. Here are a few of the more noteworthy limitations or restrictions on F2Pers when it comes to Dungeoneering:
There may be more limitations as well, but I think those are the main ones. Ill add to this list if it turns out Ive forgotten anything.
