Water Troughs Sponsored links help make RuneScoop possible; RuneScoop members don't see them. See here for more information about ads. Water troughs are the simplest skill stations. They have only one purpose in Dungeoneering: to let you fill empty vials so you can make potions. There is always a water trough in the starting room, located adjacent to the furnace and anvils. There are also other troughs spread randomly throughout dungeon rooms; these look a bit different but serve the same purpose. To use a trough you must left-click on it, then click the water vial icon that appears to fill one vial, or right-click it and select a quantity to fill more. As of the May 13, 2010 update, it is also possible to use an empty vial on a trough to cause all vials in your inventory to be filled. See the entry for the smuggler in this section, and also the Herblore skill tables, for details on making potions.
